Our Pastor
In July 2022, Pastor Troy L. Gamble, Sr. succeeded Pastor W. J. Davis as the second Pastor of New Mount Hebron Baptist Church.
Pastor Gamble is a native of Tylertown Mississippi. Upon graduation from Dexter High School, he went on to attend Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia, Arkansas and Texas A&M in Commerce, Texas where he was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree in Education.
In 1984, Pastor Gamble married Cassandra Davis and to their union they have two sons: Troy Jr., Tory, and one daughter: Troy’na.
In 1986, Pastor Gamble was ordained into the ministry and served in multiple ministerial roles until being elevated to Pastor.
Pastor Gamble has been employed since 1988 at Garland Independent School District, Garland Texas as teacher and coach.
